Invertebrates: Insects

Once we´ve seen all the vertebrates groups, let´s go through invertebrates group. The main characteristics of invertebrates is that they don´t have a backbone and that they are oviparaous.
Una vez vistos los grupos de los vertebrados, vamos a ver a los invertebrados. Las principales características es que no tienen espina dorsal y que son ovíparos.

 Molluscs, arthropods, worms, sponges, echinoderms, jellyfish and corals are invertebrates.
Moluscos, artrópodos, gusanos, esponjas, equinodermos, medusas y corales son invertebrados.

Even though we have to know that there are different subgroups within the invertebrates, we are going to focus on the following group: INSECTS. 
Aunque debemos saber que existen una gran variedad de invertebrados, nos vamos a focalizar en el grupo de los INSECTOS.





Insects have three body parts: Head, Thorax and Abdomen.
Los insectos tienen tres partes: cabeza, tórax y abdomen.

Once we´ve seen the different groups in which the ANIMAL KINGDOM is divided and their characteristics, I propose you the following task: CREATION OF A LAPBOOK , showing vertebrates and invertebrates groups, their main features, pictures, curiosities, etc. Then, you will have to record it and send it to me.
