NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST Cardinal directions are the four main directions of the compass . They include north , symbolized by N, south, abbreviated with an S, east, symbolized by an E and west, symbolized by a W.   Los puntos cardinales son las tres principales direcciones de la brújula .
